Three cheers to all who made our first annual Naturally Funny Gala the rip-roaring success that it was!

Going down at Second City’s UP! comedy club, the evening featured a one-hour live improv comedy show, some tasty eats and drinks, and “the opposite of comic relief” from Kevin Coyle, the VP of education for the National Wildlife Federation, which co-hosted the event.

The gala raised funds to support the development of our myth-busting curriculum and funny videos, which will be distributed via NWF’s Eco-Schools USA to millions of school children across the U.S.

Many thanks to Roark Johnson for providing these and other photos capturing the awesomeness!

You know you’ve made it big time when…you have amazing volunteers like this helping run the show.
Although she wasn’t the star of the Second City improv team, we think our own Kate S. held her own on the iconic stage!
These fabulous ladies helped auction off some incredible behind-the-scenes tours of our partner institutions (hello, bird walking with a Field Museum ornithologist or a studio tour with WBEZ!).
